March TAFE Artwork Part 1

Here is some of the work I have been doing at TAFE for the last five weeks. None of this is for sale until the end of the year, as I need to keep everything for my end of year assessments. :)

 

Stage 1 of my sculpture based on the lower jaw (teeth) and tongue.

  Stage 2 - I added the air-dry clay to the jaw base.

 

Final stage, also showing the tongue addition (see next pic).

And this is my brain sculpture. I sewed and stuffed all the tubes by hand, then added a chicken wire frame to the inside, and wire netting to the outside:

 

 This is my series of ink drawings using the method of drawing on one side of paper (ripped out of an old text book) and folding it to create the final work. Here are my best 40.

And finally, an oil pastel drawing of my mum.
