Artwork Update June 2012 Part 2

Now I'd like to show you one of my latest sculptures. The brief was to make something that extended the body somehow. I went with the idea that my hair gets everywhere (really it does!) and made this sculpture that fits over my head. It's made out of plaited interfacing and wire attached to a lovely old lamp shade. That's my real hair on the top - still attached to my head!
